News: Driver killed when Tri-Rail train crashes into car in Boca Raton
BOCA RATON, FL – A Tri-Rail train and a car were involved in a fatal collision in Boca Raton Wednesday afternoon, WPEC reports.
Police said 41-year-old Jeanneau Darilus was driving a Honda Pilot and went through a railroad crossing gate at Southwest 18th Street that had been lowered.
The Pilot was struck by an oncoming train that was headed northbound. Darilus, a Coral Springs resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
