News: Driver killed when car slams into pickup in Vero Beach area
VERO BEACH, FL – A collision between a car and a pickup truck in the Vero Beach area Saturday night killed one of the drivers, according to TC Palm.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the 68-year-old driver of the car did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection of 4th Street and 66th Avenue at about 9:50 p.m.
The sedan hit the side of a pickup that was going south on 66th Street. The pickup flipped over and landed on its side, while the car went off the roadway.
The pickup truck driver, a 48-year-old man from Vero Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, a 68-year-old Vero Beach man, was critically injured. Their names were not released.
