News: Driver killed when car crashes at dealership in SW Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – A driver died in a single-vehicle car accident in southwest Miami-Dade County early Sunday morning, WSVN reports.
The accident happened in the area of Bird Road and Southwest 67th Avenue, where a Hyundai sedan crashed at about 4:46 a.m.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver lost control while going west and ended up in the parking lot of a car dealership. The Hyundai hit several unoccupied buildings before striking the building.
The driver, who was partially ejected, was pronounced dead at the scene. A front-seat passenger was hospitalized in stable condition.
The westbound lanes were shut down to traffic while investigators worked the scene.
