News: Driver killed in high-speed car crash in Palm Beach County
PALM BEACH, FL – Authorities in Palm Beach County said a driver going at a high rate of speed died in a crash on Saturday morning, WPTV reports.
The victim was identified as 20-year-old Numa Karly Jean Bernard of Royal Palm Beach.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Bernard was driving a Honda CRV south on S. County Road in Palm Beach at about 3:25 a.m. when he drove off the roadway.
The Honda struck a concrete light pole, a concrete wall, and a tree. Bernard was thrown from the vehicle, and after being taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center he was pronounced dead several hours later.
