News: Driver killed in 3-car collision in Oakland Park
OAKLAND PARK, FL – A driver was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Oakland Park early Saturday morning, WPLG reports.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office said three cars were involved in the wreck on East Oakland Boulevard that was reported at about 3:45 a.m. One of the vehicles ended up crashing into a pole.
The driver of that car, a male, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was not released. No other injuries were reported.
The westbound lanes on Oakland Park Boulevard were shut down and only one eastbound lane was open after the crash. Drivers were advised to avoid the area.
An investigation is ongoing into the cause of the accident.
