News: Driver killed in 2-car collision in northwest Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Police said a two-car collision in northwest Miami-Dade County Friday morning left one of the drivers dead.
According to NBC Miami, a white sedan and a red SUV crashed at Northwest 72nd Avenue and Northwest 60th Street at about 6 a.m. Both cars went up onto a sidewalk and slammed into a pole.
The driver of the sedan was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. Police said he was not wearing his seat belt at the time. The driver of the SUV, a 42-year-old, was not injured and stayed at the scene talking to investigators. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
Miami-Dade police are trying to determine the cause of the wreck.
