News: Driver injured when car crashes into SW Miami-Dade lake
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – State troopers are investigating a crash that caused a car to end up in a lake in Southwest Miami-Dade County, according to WSVN.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the accident happened Wednesday morning as the driver of an Alfa Romeo was heading south on the Don Shula Expressway.
The driver lost control near Bird Road, went through a guardrail, hit a tree and then plunged into the lake.
The driver was reported to have escaped with minor injuries in the crash.
