News: Driver charged with vehicular homicide in Delray Beach crash that killed 6
DELRAY BEACH, FL – An 18-year-old man is facing charges in connection with an accident in Delray Beach in January that left six people dead, WPEC reports.
Noah Galle has been charged with six counts of vehicular homicide in the case, and could face up to 15 years in prison on each count if convicted.
The crash occurred Jan. 27 in the 14000 block of U.S. 441 at about 11 p.m. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Galle was driving a BMW M5 when he crashed into the back of a Nissan Rogue with six people inside.
The Rogue went into a median, rolled over, and ended up on its roof. Five people in the Rogue were pronounced dead at the scene while the sixth was pronounced dead at Delray Medical Center.
Prosecutors said Galle was driving 151 miles an hour at the time of the crash.
