News: Driver charged with DUI after crashing into home in Pembroke Pines
PEMBROKE PINES, FL – An alleged drunk driver was arrested after crashing into a home in Pembroke Pines Sunday night, reports WSVN.
Police said 38-year-old Analia Schwindt-Berrios was driving a Kia SUV when she struck the home in the area of Southwest 71st Avenue and Southwest 5th Street at about 10 p.m.
The incident, which was captured on surveillance video, brought down a wall and caused major damage but no injuries were reported.
Schwindt-Berrios was charged with DUI and DUI property damage and was being held on $5,000 bond.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
