News: Divers find body of missing boater in NW Miami-Dade lake
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – The body of a man who went missing after a personal watercraft accident in Northwest Miami-Dade was recovered over the weekend, according to WSVN.
This is an update to a previous story.
The victim was identified as Alexander Garcia. Officials said he was one of two people who fell off a personal watercraft in a lake in the area of Northwest 127th Avenue and 25th Street last week. The other boater was rescued by a good Samaritan, but Garcia could not be located.
Divers with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission found his body Saturday afternoon following a search that had begun on Tuesday night.
The accident is now under investigation by the FWC.
