News: Crews work to clear fuel spill after tractor-trailer jackknifes on I-595
DAVIE, FL – Emergency crews and the Florida Highway Patrol were on the scene of a tractor-trailer accident in Davie Monday morning that caused a fuel spill on the roadway.
WSVN reports the vehicle jackknifed in the westbound lanes of Interstate 595 near U.S. 441 at about 10:20 a.m.
Officials said the incident resulted in a leak of about 80 gallons of fuel. The highway was shut down in the area while crews worked on the cleanup efforts.
No injuries were reported, and the tractor-trailer was removed from the scene.
