News: 3 bicyclists hospitalized after collision with SUV in Hillsboro Beach
HILLSBORO BEACH, FL – Authorities say three bicyclists were injured when they were struck by an SUV in Hillsboro Beach on Saturday morning.
According to WSVN, the men were riding their bicycles north in the 900 block of Hillsboro Mile when they were hit by a Honda CR-V at about 9:30 a.m.
The three were transported to Broward Health Medical Center. No details were immediately released on the extent of their injuries.
The SUV driver stayed at the scene and was said to be cooperating with investigators.
Hillsboro Beach Police and Broward County Sheriff Fire Rescue units responded to the scene and closed a stretch of Hillsboro Mile for the crash investigation.
