News: Collision with car kills motorcycle rider in Palm Beach County
GREENACRES, FL – An accident in Palm Beach County Friday morning left a motorcycle rider dead, according to WPEC.
The victim was identified as 47-year-old Jose Santos of Wellington. According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Santos was going east on Lake Worth Road in Greenacres when the driver of a westbound car made a U-turn in front of him near Empire Way.
The motorcycle collided with the car’s rear bumper and tire, ejecting Santos from the bike. The rider, who was not wearing a helmet at the time, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Any witnesses to the crash were asked to contact Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers.
