News: Collision sends Lamborghini crashing into Fort Lauderdale home
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – A collision caused a car to crash into a home in Fort Lauderdale Sunday afternoon.
WSVN reports the driver of a rented Lamborghini Urus slammed into a parked Nissan SUV on Northwest Seventh Avenue near Northwest 11th Street at about 3 p.m.
Officials with Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue said the Lamborghini then went into the air, landed on a home’s roof and struck a tree before dropping to the ground and catching fire.
The driver of the Nissan was reported to have sustained minor injuries, while no one inside the home was injured.
Authorities said the occupants of the Lamborghini left the scene before rescue crews arrived.
