News: Collision involving Publix truck, SUV on I-95 injures both drivers
MIAMI, FL – State troopers said a collision involving a Publix truck and an SUV on Interstate 95 Monday injured both drivers.
The Miami Herald reports the incident occurred at Ives Dairy Road near the border of Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Land Rover SUV collided with the truck as both vehicles were going north on I-95, causing the SUV to flip multiple times.
The Land Rover driver, a man, was seriously injured in the crash and flown to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment. The truck driver sustained minor injuries and stayed at the scene.
I-95 was shut down in both directions near the scene as the crash was being cleared and investigated.
