News: Collision in Palm Beach County kills motorcycle rider
LAKE WORTH, FL – Authorities said a man was killed when his motorcycle was involved in a collision in Palm Beach County.
According to WPTV, the accident occurred early Sunday morning on Lantana Road in Lake Worth at about 1:36 a.m. The sheriff’s office said the driver of a Hyundai Elantra was making a left turn across Lantana Road when the vehicle was struck on the driver’s side by a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.
The operator of the motorcycle, identified as 29-year-old John Hutchinson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed is being investigated as a possible contributing factor in the crash, though it was not clear which driver may have been speeding.
