News: Collision in Fort Lauderdale leaves 1 woman dead, 3 hospitalized
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – Police in Fort Lauderdale are investigating a deadly car accident that occurred early Sunday morning.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, two vehicles were involved in the wreck on Northwest 23rd Avenue near Interstate 95 at about 5:30 a.m.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. Her name was not immediately released.
Three other women were transported to Broward Health Medical Center, where they were listed in stable condition.
No details were available on what led to the wreck, which is being investigated by the traffic homicide unit.
