News: Collision in Delray Beach seriously injures both drivers
DELRAY BEACH, FL – Police are investigating a collision between two vehicles in Delray Beach Saturday night that left both drivers hospitalized, reports WPEC.
According to police, the driver of a Mercedes was attempting to make a turn from Congress Avenue onto SW 10th Street when the vehicle collided with a Hyundai that was going north on Congress Avenue. The impact sent the Mercedes into a concrete pole.
The two drivers were seriously injured and were taken to an area hospital. No passengers were in either car. The accident closed Congress Avenue for several hours while investigators processed the scene.
