News: Car goes off road, slams into mobile home in southwest Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FL – Miami-Dade Police and rescue crews were at the scene of a mobile home that was struck by a car in Southwest Miami-Dade, WSVN reports.
The accident happened early Thursday morning at the corner of 2550 Southwest 131st Place shortly after 1 a.m.
The driver of a white Toyota sedan lost control and veered off the road. The sedan crashed into a fence and then struck the home, causing the vehicle to catch fire.
The driver, a passenger, and an elderly woman inside the home were able to escape the wreck and no serious injuries were reported.
Police said the incident occurred after the driver of the vehicle experienced a medical issue behind the wheel.
