News: Car crash injures 3 Sebastian River High School students
INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FL – Three high school students were injured in a crash in Indian River County Wednesday afternoon, TC Palm reports.
Authorities said the 16-year-olds were in a Toyota Prius that collided with another vehicle in the area of County Road 510 and Power Line Road at about 2 p.m. Their vehicle was struck by a four-door sedan at the intersection and went into a ditch, according to investigators.
The two girls and a boy, all students at Sebastian River High School, were hospitalized at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital with minor injuries. The man driving the sedan refused medical treatment.
The incident shut down lanes on County Road 510 west of Wabasso. The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office investigated the accident.
