News: BSO investigating fatal Pompano Beach motorcycle accident
POMPANO BEACH, FL – A motorcycle rider was killed in an accident in Pompano Beach on Sunday, authorities said.
According to NBC Miami, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and fire rescue crews responded to the scene on East Copans Road after the incident occurred sometime before 5:18 p.m.
The motorcycle rider was found dead at the crash scene. The victim’s name was not released.
There was no immediate word on what led to the accident, which is under investigation by Broward County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide detectives.
Lanes were shut down near the scene for the crash investigation.
