News: Boating accident in Highland Beach kills 1, injures 6
HIGHLAND BEACH, FL – Rescue crews were on the scene of a deadly boat crash in Palm Beach County Sunday afternoon, reports WPTV.
The incident occurred on the Intracoastal Waterway in the 1000 block of Bel Aire Drive in Highland Beach sometime before 5:15 p.m.
Authorities said one person died in the crash. The victim has not yet been identified.
Two adults and two children were hospitalized, while two other people were injured as well.
No details have been released on what led to the crash, which is being investigated by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
