News: Bicyclist fatally struck by vehicle at Port St. Lucie intersection
PORT ST. LUCIE, FL – A man was fatally struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in Port St. Lucie Thursday morning, WPTV reports.
Police said the bicyclist was hit by a vehicle headed south on NW St. James Drive near NW N. Macedo Boulevard at 10:43 a.m.
The bicycle rider was pronounced dead after being transported to an area hospital. Authorities did not release his name.
The driver of the vehicle involved was reported to be cooperating with investigators.
