News: 6 woman hospitalized following Dania Beach boat explosion
DANIA BEACH, FL – An explosion on board a boat at a Broward County marina over the weekend sent six women to the hospital, according to WSVN.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene at the Harbour Towne Marina in Dania Beach after the incident occurred Saturday at about 11:30 a.m.
Investigators said the women had boarded a docked boat that had vapors in the engine, and that when the vessel was started the vapors exploded.
The six women were seriously injured with second-degree burns. They were taken to Broward Health Medical Center for treatment.
