News: 6 injured, including 2 children, in crash in NE Miami-Dade
MIAMI-DADE, FL – Police and emergency units were at the scene of a car accident in northeast Miami-Dade County Friday that left six people injured.
WPLG reports the multi-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Northeast 2nd Avenue and Northeast 199th Street sometime before 1:15 p.m. Two adults were among the injured. One was taken to Jackson North Medical Center by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews, while the other was transported by private ambulance to a hospital.
Four children were also injured in the wreck, and were airlifted to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. No details were released on the conditions of any of those injured.
The accident is under investigation by Miami-Dade Police.
