News: 6 hospitalized following multi-car crash at Cooper City intersection
COOPER CITY, FL – Six people were hospitalized following a car accident Monday afternoon in Broward County, WPLG reports.
Authorities said four vehicles were involved in the incident, including a Sunrise police vehicle. They collided at about 4 p.m. in the vicinity of Griffin Road and Southwest 100th Avenue in Cooper City. No details were released on what led to the wreck.
The six injured victims were transported to Memorial Hospital West with injuries that were not regarded as life-threatening.
The incident is under investigation by detectives with the Broward Sheriff Office Traffic Unit.
