News: 4 vehicles involved in fatal collision in Homestead
HOMESTEAD, FL – Police said four vehicles were involved in a fatal collision in Homestead on Saturday night, reports WSVN.
Authorities responded to the scene in the area of Southwest 147th Avenue and Campbell Drive near Homestead Hospital. Investigators said an SUV and a sedan were among the vehicles involved in the crash, which happened at about 10 p.m.
A man and a woman who was eight months pregnant were killed in the wreck, and the woman’s unborn child did not survive, police said.
Several other people were injured and were taken to local hospitals. No information was released on the severity of their injuries.
Investigators were trying to determine what caused the crash, saying excessive speed may have been a contributing factor.
