News: 4 rescued by Coast Guard after boat capsizes off Miami Beach
MIAMI BEACH, FL – Four people were rescued following a boating accident on Sunday night near Miami Beach, WSVN reports.
Boaters on an 18-foot vessel were out on a fishing trip in Government Cut when they said a wave hit the back of the boat at about 8 p.m. The vessel capsized and the boaters were thrown overboard.
U.S. Coast Guard crews were dispatched to the scene and were able to pull the four from the water. They were taken to Jungle Island Marina. There was no immediate word on whether anyone was injured.
