News: 4 rescued by Coast Guard after boat accident near Key Biscayne
KEY BISCAYNE, FL – Four men were rescued Saturday following a boat accident off the coast of South Florida, reports WSVN and the Associated Press.
Officials said the 19-foot vessel was found capsized near Fowey Rocks Lighthouse east of Biscayne Bay. A Miami-Dade County dispatcher notified the Coast Guard after the men were spotted sitting on the boat at about 10:30 a.m. The Coast Guard came to the rescue and transported the men to Dinner Key Marina near Miami. None of the four were injured in the incident.
The Coast Guard said arrangements would be made to recover the boat.
