News: 3 injured, including 2 Broward sheriff’s deputies, after accident in Lauderdale Lakes
LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL – Authorities were searching for the driver involved in a crash Saturday night that injured two Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies, WPLG reported.
The incident took place in the area of Northwest 31st Avenue and Northwest 26th Street in Lauderdale Lakes, where investigators said the driver of a GMC pickup truck went through a red light at about 10 p.m.
The pickup crashed into a marked Broward Sheriff’s Office vehicle and then struck another vehicle.
The two deputies in the BSO car and the driver of the other car were treated and released from an area hospital.
The driver of the pickup had not been located by the time responding BSO deputies got to the scene and is now being sought.
