News: 3 dead, 2 injured after car crashes into front of Miami home
MIAMI, FL – Three people were killed and two others injured in a car accident in Miami Wednesday morning, according to WPLG.
Police said a car struck the front of a home at Northeast 2nd Avenue and Northeast 82nd Street and then caught fire. A male and a female who were in the car were pronounced dead at the scene while a third person in the car, a man, died later at Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Two people in the home, a male and female, were hospitalized with minor injuries.
Northeast 82nd Street was shut down from Northeast 4th Avenue while authorities responded to the crash scene.
Investigators are trying to determine whether speed was a contributing factor in the wreck.
