News: 2 vehicles involved in fatal collision at Boynton Beach intersection
BOYNTON BEACH, FL – Police said a man was killed when two vehicles were involved in a crash in Boynton Beach Wednesday afternoon.
According to WPEC, investigators said 19-year-old Ryann Wright was driving a Dodge Challenger east on West Gateway Boulevard when she entered the intersection with Royal Manor Circle.
At the same time, 68-year-old Daniel Weitzer was driving a Ford Ranger and making a left turn from Royal Manor Circle onto West Gateway Boulevard. The two vehicles collided and emergency crews rushed Weitzer to Delray Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Wright and two juveniles who were passengers in her car were not hurt in the crash.
Boynton Beach police are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
