News: 2 hospitalized after SUV struck by train in Hialeah
HIALEAH, FL – An SUV was struck by a train in Hialeah Monday evening, leaving two people hospitalized.
According to WPLG, two adults and two children were in the vehicle when it was hit in the area of Northwest 38th Avenue and 36th Street near Miami International Airport at about 6 p.m.
The two adults, a 44-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman, were trauma alerts and were taken by paramedics to Jackson Memorial Hospital, WSVN reported. They were said to be awake and breathing, though no further details were released on their conditions.
The children were not believed to have been seriously hurt.
