News: 2 drivers killed in wrong-way collision in Coral Springs
CORAL SPRINGS, FL – A wrong-way collision on Wiles Road in Coral Springs last week left two drivers dead, reports Coral Springs Talk.
Police said the driver of a Bentley lost control of the vehicle while heading east near Creekside Drive at about 10:42 a.m. Thursday. The Bentley went into the westbound lanes of Wiles Road and crashed into a Hyundai, then collided with a Lincoln SUV. The 17-year-old male driver of the Bentley and the woman who was driving the Hyundai were both pronounced dead at the scene. The Hyundai driver was identified as 32-year-old Sangita Burrell of Sunrise. No one else was in their cars at the time.
The driver of the Lincoln was not injured, and stayed at the scene to speak with crash investigators.
Coral Springs Police are continuing their investigation into the fatal wreck.
