News: 19-year-old charged with causing fatal Miami Gardens car crash
MIAMI GARDENS, FL – A young man has been charged with causing a fatal car crash in Miami Gardens last month, according to WPLG.
19-year-old Innocent Friggson is facing one count of vehicular homicide/reckless manner in connection with the Sept. 25 collision in the 3800 block of Northwest 183rd Street.
Police said evidence determined that Friggson was speeding as he drove west on Northwest 183rd Street at about 2 a.m., and slammed into a vehicle attempting to make a turn onto Northwest 38th Court.
The other vehicle overturned after the collision, and a 64-year-old man was ejected. The victim, 64-year-old Ludman Lawrence, suffered fatal injuries.
Three other vehicles were involved in the crash, including two that were parked.
