News: 1 injured when car slams into power pole in Opa-locka
OPA-LOCKA, FL – One person was hospitalized following a car accident in Opa-locka early Tuesday morning, NBC Miami reports.
A car was reported to have crashed into a power pole near the 100 block of Ali Baba Avenue at about 4:40 a.m. A female in the car was flown to an area hospital after she was reportedly found unresponsive.
Crews from Florida Power and Light crews were dispatched to the scene to repair the pole and power lines that fell. There was no word on whether the crash caused any power outages in the area.
