News: 1 dead after car crashes, catches fire in Palm Beach County
JUPITER, FL – Police were on the scene of a deadly car accident in Palm Beach County early Friday morning, reports WPTV.
Investigators believe a driver lost control while driving west on Indiantown Road near Alternate AIA in Jupiter at about 3:42 a.m.
The driver went off the roadway and struck electricity poles, causing the vehicle to split in half and then catch fire. The identity of the person who was killed was not immediately released.
The accident shut down two westbound lanes on Indiantown Road for several hours during the crash investigation.
