News: 1 dead, 1 injured following multi-vehicle accident in Lauderhill
LAUDERHILL, FL – Police said a multi-vehicle accident in Lauderhill left one person dead and another hospitalized.
According to WSVN, officers were at the scene Monday afternoon on the 3800 block of West Sunrise Boulevard.
Investigators determined that a driver lost control of their vehicle while going east on West Sunrise Boulevard, jumped the median and collided with a car traveling westbound. Another vehicle was also involved in the wreck.
No details were immediately released on the person who was killed. Another person was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The accident shut down Sunrise Boulevard in both directions while the scene was being investigated.
