More Diamond Princess Passengers Test Positive for Cornoavirus
The news for cruise ship passengers, quarantined aboard a ship suffering from a serious coronavirus contagion, just keeps getting worse. Amid news that the number of passengers who authorities have confirmed to have contracted the virus has jumped from 10 to 61, passengers aboard the Diamond Princess were undoubtedly hoping for some good news. But now reports indicate that two more passengers have contracted the virus, a finding that could potentially extend passengers’ quarantine.
Authorities have indicated that any new coronavirus cases could cause them to extend the current quarantine past the ship’s current quarantine termination date of February 19, 2020.
FoxNews reportedly reached out to authorities for comment about the newest cases of coronavirus but did not receive a response.
