Man Mysteriously Dies Aboard Carnival Cruise Ship
A man mysteriously died aboard a Carnival cruise ship as the vessel was returning to port on Friday night.
CBS Miami reports that the man was aboard the Carnival Horizon cruise ship as it was returning to PortMiami when he died. Though the CBS Miami report did not identify how the man died, other published reports indicate that the man fell four stories aboard the ship to his death.
The CBS report quotes Cindy Knox, a witness who said “We definitely saw something was up when we were looking over our balcony and we’re seeing a section of the fifth floor it’s all blocked off and people are standing around guarding where you can’t get to it and all the furniture is pushed out of the way.” Knox went on to say that she asked her cabin steward if the man was OK, and the steward responded: “No, he passed away.”
WinkNews.com reports that Carnival is cooperating with the Miami Police Department, which will be investigating the man’s death.
