GoFundMe Established For Family of Children Killed in Mini-Golf Crash
It is almost comprehensible: one minute a family is playing mini-golf with their children and the next minute a driver slams into the mini-golf course, killing the children.
This unlikely tragic scenario played out late last week when Addie and Baylor Kirchgessner were killed in a crash at a Panama City Beach mini-golf attraction while their family was in town from Louisville, Kentucky.
Please consider supporting the Kirchgessner Family who experienced a tragic accident in Panama City, Florida resulting in the loss of their two children. Addie and Baylor were the children of Indiana PGA member Matt Kirchgessner and his wife Lauren. https://t.co/OYqAT8ihVx

A GoFundMe for the children’s parents, Matt and Lauren Kirchgessner, was established to help them cover the costs associated with their children’s medical bills, funerals, and travel. Courier-Journal.com reports that the fund has raised $53,037 of its $65,000 goal as of the time the article was published.
The children’s mother, Lauren Kirchgessner, is a teacher at Audubon Traditional Elementary School, Jefferson County Public Schools. In a statement, the school said “we have resources in place to help the staff, students and families of Audubon Traditional Elementary. Our hearts are certainly with her family right now, and we’ll do everything we can to support them.”
