Florida Man Loses Entire Family In Horrific Head-On Collision
A Royal Palm Beach man has lost his entire family after being involved in a multi-vehicle crash during a vacation to Orlando.
CBS12.com reports that Wagner Salvador, his wife Veruska, his 12-year-old daughter, and 11-year-old son were traveling on State Road 60 on Friday night when their vehicle was struck in a head-on collision. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, an 83-year-old man was driving a truck in the opposing lane when he crossed over into the Salvador’s lane in an attempt to pass a car in front of him.
The resulting collision killed Veruska and the two children and left Wagner hospitalized with multiple broken bones. The driver of the truck also died in the crash.
“He lost everything. His family was everything to him,” said Wagner’s employer Brian Cote. “He just had his kids here last week. I took them all out as a family on the boat, and I have pictures of the kids playing in the water and on the boat.”
Cote has started a GoFundMe page for Salvador, saying that “To get him through these tough times he’s going to need financial help.
