Five Students Injured in Crash Involving School Bus and Semi in Levy County
A school bus was severely damaged, and five students were injured, when the bus and a semi-truck collided late last month.
Live5News.com reports that the crash occurred in Levy County when both the bus and tractor-trailer were traveling on US 19 at about 3:45 p.m. As the bus traveled in front of the semi, the semi crashed into the bus when the bus slowed and stopped to drop off a child.

The bus driver and five students were reported injured and hospitalized. Two of the students were seriously injured.
The bus had 10 students on board at the time of the crash.
