Florida Keys residents are once again preparing to battle mother nature, after a brush fire raged out of control on Sunday.
WSVN.com reports that authorities on Big Pine Key were monitoring the situation, but had not yet ordered a mandatory evacuation. At last report the fire had destroyed a home and a garage, after burning over 30 acres. About 1,900 customers were reported to have lost power as a result of the fire.
