Elderly Man in Critical Condition After Medical Evacuation From Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship
An elderly man was medically evacuated from a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in the Florida Keys on Wednesday.
WSVN.com reports that an 81-year-old man was sailing aboard the Serenade of the Seas ship when he suffered a medical emergency. The report does not indicate the nature of the emergency.
Authorities brought the man ashore in Key West where medical personnel at Lower Keys Medical Center attended to him.
At last report, the man was in critical condition.
After disembarking the man in Key West the cruise ship continued on its voyage.
