Early Christmas Crash Leaves Two Dead and Three Seriously Injured
Christmas day proved to be tragic for several people involved in a South Florida crash.
WPTV.com reports that two people were killed and three seriously injured in a vehicle crash early Christmas morning. Apparently, one vehicle was traveling southbound on Congress Avenue in Palm Beach County while another was traveling westbound on Forest Hill Boulevard. When the first vehicle arrived at a stoplight it apparently did not stop, colliding with the second vehicle on the left side.
The impact was so severe that the first vehicle went through the intersection and struck a business on the other side of the tree line.
The driver of the first vehicle, a local 25-year-old woman, and her passenger, a 23-year-old man from Puerto Rico, were both killed in the crash. The three occupants of the second vehicle were all taken to the hospital in serious condition. They include two men ages 23 and 25, and a woman age 24.
Florida authorities are investigating the crash.
