Driver killed, passenger hurt when SUV crashes into tree
COLLIER COUNTY, FL – A crash involving an SUV left one man dead and another injured in Collier County, WINK reports.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident, which happened Sunday at about 12:30 a.m. in the area of Golden Gate Parkway and Airport Pulling Road North.
The FHP said a 35-year-old Naples man was driving an SUV when he lost control on Golden Gate Parkway and crashed into a tree.
The driver died of his injuries, while a 42-year-old male passenger was seriously injured.
