Deadly Day on I-95 As Multiple Crashes Leave At Least 3 Dead
2 people are dead following a serious car crash on I-95 in South Florida on Monday.
Local10.com reports that the crash involved a Dodge pickup truck and a Saturn and occurred near the Miami Gardens Drive exit in the southbound express lanes of the interstate.
Two occupants in the Saturn suffered serious injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
In a separate incident, a man was killed in a hit-and-run collision on I-95 on Monday.
Local10.com reports that a vehicle struck the victim as he was walking near the Golden Glades Interchange at about 6:40 am.
The driver of the vehicle did not stop, as required by Florida law.
Police continue to search for the driver of the vehicle involved in the deadly crash and request that anyone with information contact them immediately.
