Brightline Train Collides with Car in Pompano Beach – Three People Injured
A car was destroyed and several people were injured today, in yet another collision between a Brightline train and a vehicle.
Local10.com reports that the crash occurred in Pompano Beach near Northeast Third Street and North Dixie Highway. The collision sent the three passengers of the vehicle to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The report indicates that approximately three cars were involved in the crash, but only one collided with the train.
Since its initial testing, the Brightline train has been involved in many collisions with vehicles and pedestrians. Several people have been killed, and many more injured, in the incidences.
