Bicyclist Dead Following Fort Lauderdale Traffic Collision
A bicyclist was killed in a collision with a vehicle in Fort Lauderdale early Saturday morning.
Local10.com reports that the crash occurred at about 4 a.m. in the vicinity of Avenue of the Arts Bridge and West Las Olas Boulevard, and involved a red vehicle that struck the bicyclist.
Following the crash, the driver of the vehicle waited for first responders and reportedly cooperated with them.
First responders arrived on the scene to provide assistance to the bicyclist and later pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene.
Investigators have not indicated the cause of the crash.
